A comprehensive evaluation of your hearing will be performed including otoscopic inspection, pure tone testing, and speech testing. Depending on your condition, middle ear, and inner ear testing as well as ultra-high frequency testing may also be performed. Individualized treatment recommendations are made based on the test results.

Tinnitus Management

If you are suffering from tinnitus or sound sensitivity issues, many investigative diagnostic tests will be performed to evaluate your condition. Pediatrics

About two to three of every 1,000 children experience hearing loss in one or both ears. Of children between the age of 6 and 19, 15% experience some form of hearing loss. For newborns, roughly 50% of hearing loss cases are caused by genetic factors. The World Hearing Organization recommends seeking treatment for pediatric hearing loss, which has been found to support a child’s overall health and development.

Aural Rehabilitation Support

Aural rehabilitation support comprises all physical and therapeutic devices and equipment an audiologist can prescribe for a patient with hearing loss. Rehabilitation refers to any devices or techniques that enhance an impaired ability. In many cases, this process is part of the diagnosis of hearing loss and the device selection. Redux

Moisture is the enemy of all hearing aids, but accidents do happen! If your hearing aids have been exposed to or submerged in water, they need to be dried immediately to prevent any damage to the sensitive electronics housed inside. Cadenza Audiology provides moisture removal and drying with Redux, an ultra-efficient evaporation system that leaves hearing instruments sounding their best through complete and verified moisture removal.

Cerumen Removal

Cerumen removal can be performed during any appointment at Cadenza Audiology. We do not use any form of irrigation; rather suction and/or instrumentation are used to provide a more comfortable experience.
