After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Journalism and Communication Studies, she received her doctorate from the University of Maryland in Clinical Audiology. As an extern, she trained at The Tinnitus and Hyperacusis Center at the University of Maryland Medical Center and completed her doctoral research on tinnitus treatment services.
For twelve years, she worked in various medical settings seeing medically complex cases as well as pediatric cases. She was able to maintain a wide range of clinical and rehabilitative audiology skills throughout a decade-long career at Kaiser Permanente, including electrophysiological, tinnitus, and vestibular testing and treatments.
When the ocean waves and the swaying palm trees of Florida called Dr. Lee to move almost a thousand miles south to warmer weather, she took the opportunity to branch out her specialty skills into serving her new community. She volunteered with Lend an Ear Services in Jacksonville and hopes to continue to expand her services to reach more people.
She resides happily under the Florida sun in St. John’s County with her husband and three children.
